                 League Information

 

                 This league was supposed to have started in August 2005,                  but due to lack of grounds when games were to start, it had                  to be postponed.

 

                 Moreover, due to non-stop cases between the teams, it had                  to be delayed, and therefore only started on the 2^nd week of                  October.

             B Division plays in 10 districts of Lesotho. There are              approximately :

 

· 103 teams in Maseru,

· 56 teams in Berea and Leribe.

· 40 teams in Mafeteng

· 30 teams in MHoek

· 20 teams in Quthing

· 10 teams in Qacha’s Nek

· 15 teams in Thaba-Tseka

· 10 teams in Mokhotlong

· 32 in Butha-Buthe (8 central, and 8, north, and 16 in southern Butha Buthe)

· It started since the beginning of soccer in Lesotho.

 

·  It is the 3^rd division from premier league.

 

· The 2 winners from B Division join the A division, 1 in northern stream and the other in the southern stream.

 

· It runs one league which is sponsored by BUDDIE. It runs between August and April the following year.

 

· It has only one final which determines the winners which will join the A Division League every year.
